Why DMCS

When self-service stalls

Routine tasks like checking a status or downloading a certificate are straightforward on the portal yourself. The friction comes when a renewal is rejected, an amendment needs an approval, or a compliance flag blocks the file.

Where portal filings stall

We clear the block and see the filing through

A lapsed Ejari, a wrong activity code, or an external approval nobody flagged is what stalls a DED transaction. DMCS deals with DET every day and takes the filing over from where you are.

01

Renewals that clear the first time

DMCS checks your Ejari, fines, and external approvals before submitting, so a rejected renewal does not push you past your expiry date and into a late fine.

02

Amendments handled end to end

Changing an activity, a partner, or ownership can trigger approvals from other authorities. DMCS sequences them so the amendment does not stall on the portal.

03

One desk, past the transaction

The team that files your renewal also handles visas and PRO work, so nothing falls between departments once the license is issued.

Get your DED transaction handled

Send DMCS your trade license number and the task, and the team manages the portal filing, the document clearances, and the renewal with DET on the mainland, start to finish. No obligation, and a clear answer on what your license needs.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The DED dashboard is the DET eServices portal, run by Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism at eservices.dubaided.gov.ae and connected to the wider Invest in Dubai one-stop platform. It is the online account where mainland licence holders reserve a trade name, apply for initial approval, add or amend activities, change partners and managers, renew the licence, pay every government fee and download the official trade licence PDF, with no service-centre visit needed for the majority of transactions.
Login is through UAE Pass, the UAE's national digital identity, which links your licence to a verified individual and is now the standard route into the portal. A handful of older DED accounts still accept a legacy DED username and password, but UAE Pass is the recommended and far more widely supported option, and some newer services are only exposed through it. You can also reach many of the same DET services through the Invest in Dubai platform and the DubaiNow app.
Yes, provided three things are clear before you file: a valid, current Ejari tenancy registration, no outstanding fines, and no pending approvals from an external regulator. With all three in place, a standard renewal can be reviewed, approved and paid in a single online session and the renewed licence PDF downloaded immediately. If any one is unresolved, the portal halts the transaction, frequently with a generic error that never names the actual cause, which is where most self-service renewals get stuck.
A standard mainland licence renewal commonly lands between AED 8,000 and AED 15,000, built from the base DET fee, the Dubai Chamber membership fee, a market fee calculated as a percentage of your registered tenancy rent, and the fixed knowledge and innovation surcharges. Regulated activities and extra external approvals raise the total. The portal itemises every line before you confirm, so you see the full breakdown, and can catch a wrongly calculated market fee, rather than a single lump sum.
The four usual culprits are an expired Ejari tenancy registration, an unpaid fine anywhere on the licence, a pending approval from an external regulator, or an activity that cannot be processed online and is routed to counter review. Late renewals also attract a penalty of roughly AED 250 per month once the grace period lapses, and that unpaid penalty can itself block the next transaction. We identify the specific blocker, clear the prerequisites in the right order, and complete the filing without the loop restarting.
